The description of a clinical case presents the use of SONOCA-185 for the patient with pancreatonecrosis. The late patient I., 46 y.o., with bilateral polysegmentary pneumonia, underwent 6 sessions with the SONOCA-185 ultrasonic device. The sessions were carried out in the cavities after opening of retroperitoneal space abscesses and in the field of drainages of an omental bursa; the operating mode of the device was from 0 to 20 % and from 20 % to 40 % within 1,5 minutes. The histological researches of the pancreas tissue and parapancreatic space show stopping of an inflammation in pancreas and parapancreatic fat in the form of pancreas parenchyma atrophy, growth of the interstitial connecting tissue with lymphoid infiltration of connecting tissue, lipomatosis of pancreas, with the preserved Langerhans islets within the connecting tissue. Thus, the ultrasonic processing with the SONOCA-185 device promotes the intensive purification of the infected cavities from purulent exudation; the purulent exudation and fibrin film are eliminated.
Key words: pancreatonecrosis, ultrasonic processing, SONOCA-185.
