The results of surgical treatment of 40 patients (50 eyes) with corneal astigmatism, who underwent phacoemulsification, were analyzed. As clinical examples, two cases are presented in detail: case 1 ― combination with hypermetropia of high degree, case 2 ― combination with senile hard cataract. In both cases, phacoemulsification of cataract and extraction of transparent lens, and correction of corneal astigmatism were performed using limbal relaxing incisions of cornea using femtosecond LensX-Verion system. As a result, in both patients the highest possible visual acuity was achieved, and the degree of corneal astigmatism was reduced.
