Using heart rate variability in the assessment of the success the activities in the sport

The article presents a historical review and the data of recent literature on the use of the method of rhythmocardiography for assessing the success the activities in the sport. The method is useful for monitoring of the training, the degree of competition readiness, successful recovery, the early detection of signs of overreaching and overtraining. It is indispensable to determine adaptation reserves, for predicting sports results and the selection of talented sports people.
