Efficacy of the cartilage protector in complex therapy of scapulohumeral periarthritis of vertebrogenic origin was studied. It was found that the application of cartilage protector for the treatment of this pathology has a positive impact on functional state of the periarticular musculotendinous structures. It was clinically presented as a rapid pin regression and increase of range of motion in the joints.

Key words: scapulohumeral joint, cartilage protector, pain.
