The article presents two cases of hepatitis-associated aplastic anemia. The literature data on this nosology is given. The clinical picture, diagnosis and treatment are discussed. Diagnosis and treatment issues that affect prognosis are raised. Treatment preference should be given to allogeneic bone marrow transplantation as having better results than aggressive immunosuppressive therapy that is difficult for patients to tolerate.

Key words: hepatitis-associated aplastic anemia (HAAA), immunosuppressive therapy, allogeneic bone marrow transplantation, markers of viral infection.
