The invention in the sphere of medical equipment is intended for the fast application, reliable fixation and graded traction of the cervical spine after traumatic injuries and various diseases. The cervical splint has supports for the head and shoulders, connected with each other by movable-fixing blocks and having trapeziform brackets. The supports are made of a flexible and elastic material. The upper support has a shape of the crescent in section. The lower support has a wavy surface with a groove. Each of the four movable-fixing blocks consists of a cylinder with a spring-loaded plunger inside with a row of apertures along the full length.
The cylinder has a spring-loaded plunger double-shoulder for fixation of Г-shape. Its sharp end can contact through apertures in the cylinder with the apertures in a plunger. The plunger also has pins, projecting from the apertures in the cylinder. The plunger is rigidly fixed on the upper support, and the cylinder on the lower support. Along its full length, the upper support has a rubber tube with a back needle valve. The supports are equipped with removable hygienic cotton covers with Velcro fasteners. The device provides reliable fixation and graded regime (without pain and bedsores) traction of the cervical spine after its injuries or diseases or in post-operational period.
