Till now, there have been no treatment methods capable of starting regenerative processes in the degeneratively altered intervertebral disks in case of protrusions, hernias, and extrusions. The use of Alloplant biomaterials gave positive results in solving this problem. The method used in Federal State Budgetary Institution «Russian Eye and Plastic Surgery Center» for treating patients with degenerative lesions of intervertebral disks consists in the paravertebral insertion of Alloplant biomaterial directly to the affected disk. A positive result was obtained – restoration of the affected disks configuration by regeneration with complete vocational rehabilitation.
Key words: hernia of intervertebral disks, protrusions of intervertebral disks, arthrosis.
