The article presents the results of comparative analysis of repeated operations of 405 patients with early postoperative abdominal complications. The main group of 314 patients were operated using low-invasive technologies under ultrasound guidance. The comparison group included 91 patients operated with the traditional method: opening of seromas, hematomas, abscesses of the abdominal wall and abdominal cavity. For the purpose of improved visualization and effective evacuation of contents from liquid formations, a new needle was developed, patented and introduced into practical surgery. Using of a new needle allowed to reduce the incidence of complications 5 times. Comparative analysis revealed significant advantage of minimally invasive interventions in repeated interventions.
Key words: early postoperative abdominal complications, seromas, hematomas, abscesses, traditional, minimally invasive operations under ultrasound guidance.
