  • The principles of post-traumatic upper eyelid defects reconstruction

    The article presents the results of surgical treatment of 60 patients with post-traumatic upper eyelid defect. All defects were full-thick but according to the area of involvement were divided into full defects (100% of eyelid area), half defects, one third and one quarter defects. Taking into account the involvement area, of surgical techniques were designed using Alloplant biomaterials that allowed to eliminate both small and total post-traumatic upper eyelid defects.
