This article describes the case of a foreign body in the right upper lobe bronchus. A 92-year-old patient with severe bronchial asthma had no anamnestic data of aspiration, and the deterioration in the condition of the patient was related to a worsening of underlying disease. After flexible bronchoscopy for the presumed massive lower airways obstruction by bronchial mucous was found an «old» foreign body which completely occluded the bronchial lumen.
