Were analyzed 1094 cases of treatment-seeking patients who have turned to primary care physicians or detected by X-ray examination in the period from October, 1995 to July, 2013. Federal and local institutional arrangements lead to a better diagnosis of sarcoidosis, an increase in incidence of biopsy, frequency reduction of abusive application of antitubercular drugs and system glucocorticosteroids. The authors stated that further educational and organizational work to improve the delivery of care to patients with sarcoidosis in Russia is required.
