The article presents a description of a clinical case of pregnancy management and successful delivery at 37 weeks in a patient who had been receiving program hemodialysis for 17 years. Pregnancy was unexpectedly discovered at 6–7 weeks; intensive hemodialysis was performed 6 times a week during gestation. There are certain difficulties in managing pregnancy in women receiving program hemodialysis, however, a favorable outcome is possible with the coordinated work of a multidisciplinary medical team.
Key words: hemodialysis, pregnancy, chronic kidney disease.
