The authors have found significant variations in the functional activity parameters of the TLR system in patients with PN depending on the disease severity. These indicators can be used as a target for therapeutic treatment. Antimediatory therapy with NSAID “Lornoxicam” in the course of this research resulted in considerable improvement of the outcomes of medical treatment of the patients with PN.
Key words: pancreatic necrosis (PN), cytokines, Toll-like receptors (TLR), NSAIDs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs), antimediatory treatment.
