The article presents the results of determining S. pneumoniae serotypes, circulating among HIV-positive patients with out-of-hospital pneumonia. In HIV-positive individuals 11 variations of S. pneumoniae serotypes were found, which led to the development of out-of-hospital pneumonia — 3, 4, 6ABC, 8, 11A/Д, 14, 19A, 19F, 23F, 35F, 47F, the leading of them were 3, 14, 19A and 23F. In patients with pneumonia complicated by invasive forms of infection, 1, 4, 6АВС and 16F serotypes were registered. Data on existence of strains, resistant to antibacterial preparations, are obtained.
