Stages of development and modern aspects of keratorefractive surgery

The article presents a literature review of the stages of development and the main achievements in the keratorefractive surgery, advantages and disadvantages of such procedures as photorefractive keratectomy (PRK), laser in situ keratomileusis (LASIK), ReLex: FLEx, SMILE. We compared LASIK procedures using microkeratome and femtosecond laser when forming a corneal flap.
