We used the method of detecting the circulating immune complexes (CIC) for antigen HCV (core, NS3, NS4, NS5) in patients with chronic hepatitis C in the course of antiviral therapy. The obtained results showed a sufficient immunogenicity of the entire spectrum of the studied HCV antigens prior to antiviral therapy. After the effective antiviral therapy with prolonged suppression of viral replication, the reduction Core anti-IgG in the composition of the CIC occurred, but not a complete disappearance of the Core-antigenemia. There was a 3-fold reduction in the level of anti-NS5 IgG in the composition of the CIC, which is fully consistent with the suppression of viral replication. It is proved that the formation of the CIC in the HCV-infection bears signs of specificity, which is confirmed by marked differences in the frequency of their occurrence in the HCV antibodies, manifested most frequently in patients with successful therapy.

Key words: circulating immune complexes (CIC), chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV), spectrum of antibodies.
