The authors have conducted serological studies with the quantitative assessment of 9 anti-SP antibodies participating in anti-apoptotic protection, control of immunomolecular homeostasis and tissue homeostasis in 82 patients with primary open-angle glaucoma. It was established that glaucoma develops against the background of simultaneous deficiency of anti-SP antibodies that control integrity of cellular cytoskeleton: anti-actin, anti-fodrin, and anti-thymosin ß4 antibodies. Antibodies deficiency grew. Simultaneously increased immunomolecular signs of apoptotic cellular death in the form of rising antibodies consumption to specific antigens ― GADPH, rhodopsin, ENO, NSE-1 ― have increased. Manifestation of the disease was accompanied by release of anti-MBP catalytic antibodies participating in destruction of axons and stimulation of production of anti-crystallin antibodies responsible for reparative processes and antioxidative protection in the cell. Obtained data unveil the opportunities of molecular diagnostics and evaluation of glaucoma efficiency.
Key words: immunomolecular markers, primary open-angle glaucoma, blood serum, diagnostics.
