The article presents the results of examination of 187 female patients with primary hypothyroidism depending on the level of thyroid failure. The research included the assessment of clinical, hemodynamic parameters, lipid and hormonal profile, endothelium function and kidney filtration function. It was demonstrated that the examined patients had such risk factors as obesity, arterial hypertension, atherogenic dyslipidemia, endothelium dysfunction, subclinical atherosclerosis, diastolic dysfunction and left ventricle hypertrophy. The disease compensation and long-term levothyroxine therapy did not lead to the significant decrease of risk factor severity.
Key words: primary hypothyroidism, risk factors, dyslipidemia, endothelium dysfunction.
