    In article there are discussed issues concerning the relationship between a doctor and a patient with regard to rheumatological practice. Indicators of conflict in a duad «doctor-patient» prevent the achievement of clinical effect and optimal compliance. The factors which make it difficult to receive information from a patient are discussed: 1) lack of agreement of opinions among experts; 2) imposition of the truth by mass media; 3) inefficient methods of information work; 4) inability and unwillingness of the doctor to carry out information work, lack of willingness to cooperate with a patient; 5) personal characteristics of a patient; 6) personal characteristics of a doctor.
