The article presents the results of treatment of the musculoskeletal system diseases by focused shock wave (shock wave therapy). The rationale for the use of this method is presented, in particular, in the treatment of myofascial pain syndrome. The kinesitherapy complex is described, which is recommended to accompany the focused shock wave therapy. Clinical cases are considered.
Key words: myofascial pain syndrome, focused shock wave therapy.
