 Mayer — Rokitansky — Küster — Hauser syndrome characterized by the uterus and vagina aplasia is a rare pathology that constitutes an underlying cause of primary amenorrhea. The article presents a literature review on the issue from international databases Scopus, Web of Science, PubMed in the recent 30 years. There were isolated reports of fibroids arising from the rudimentary horns of the uterus, which could reach large size and develop complications. We present a rare clinical case of multiple fibroids in Mayer — Rokitansky — Küster — Hauser syndrome with a retroperitoneal location of one of the nodes.
