Treatment of contractures caused by posttraumatic arthrosis is a serious problem due to its wide prevalence and difficulty of treatment. In this article we describe the method of contractures treatment. During the experiment, we selected 3 groups of patients with hand joints contractures, who repeatedly received inconclusive physiotherapy. Patients of the first group were injected platelet rich plasma, of the second group – hyaluronic acid, and of the third group – a combination of both. Subsequently, we studied the results with the upper limb inability scale and the visual analogous pain scale. The results suggest a good result of the combination of hyaluronic acid and plasma: pain is reduced, joints become more elastic, there is a possibility of deeper working out of the joints, which has a positive effect on the treatment results.
Key words: joint contracture, hyaluronic acid, platelet-rich plasma.
