This clinical case represents a variant of identifying the visceral form of primary hyperparathyroidism as an «accidental discovery» through the use of tool and biochemical screening tests. Awareness of a wide range of professionals will increase the detection rate of patients with this pathology in the early stages of diagnosis, reducing the risk of late complications and disability.
Key words: hyperparathyroidism, hypercalcemia, parathyroid adenoma.
