Objective ― to compare the efficiency of agonists of gonadotrophic hormones and synthetic selective modulators of progesterone receptors as preoperative preparation of patients with uterus myoma.

Materials and methods. The research included 73 women patients of reproductive age with uterus myoma, who underwent preoperative hormonal preparation.

Conclusions. Buserelin-depot makes more expressed impact on the structure of mioma nodes and allows to rapidly stop the clinical symptoms of menstrual cycle violation in patients with uterus myoma. Synthetic selective modulators of progesterone receptors have a number of features limiting their broad application, i.e. the necessity to receive the medicine daily, the lack of due fast impact on miometritis structures, insufficient efficiency in combined pathology of an uterus, etc.

Key words: agonists of gonadotrophic hormones, synthetic selective modulators of progesterone receptors, uterus myoma.
