    The article presents the literature data and the authors’ research results on the prevalence of premature newborn, their pathologies during neonatal period and the role of multidisciplinary approach.

    Key words: premature newborns children, perinatal audit, perinatal neuroontogenesis, postnatal maturation of the organs, neuro-mental development, retardation.
