The authors conducted a phased comparative analysis of quality of life in patients who received surgical treatment for proximal femur fracture. The evaluation was conducted on the basis of the «QL-100» questionnaire. Despite the recovery of clinical functional abilities in one year after treatment, the patients’ quality of life reduced compared with the period before the injury. The authors emphasize the particular importance of psychological rehabilitation of patients with injuries of the proximal femur.
Key words: proximal femur fracture, quality of life.
