    Urolithiasis (ICD) is a condition characterized by the formation of dense solid mineral structures in the urinary system. In different regions of Russia the incidence rate of children is 18-52:100,000. As the causes of ICD in children, genetic are put in the first place, infection, water regimen, diet, and drugs are of great importance. In the clinical picture, in young children, general anxiety and vomiting prevail, in older children — typical localization of pain with characteristic irradiation, hematuria. The paramount importance in the diagnosis of ICD belongs to ultrasound (sensitivity 19-93%, specificity more than 90%). Efficiency depends on the size and position of the stone, equipment, experience of the researcher. Drug and non-drug treatments are discussed. Recommendations on interprofessional cooperation and dispensary observation are given.
