Peculiarities of the psycho-emotional status of children with primary arterial hypertension

The article presents an outline of studies devoted to the correlation between anxiety and depression in children with arterial hypertension (AH). We describe the experience of using a screening method for identifying clinically significant symptoms of anxiety and depression (HADS) in children and adolescents with primary arterial hypertension. The authors carried out a comparative analysis of the frequency of clinically significant symptoms of anxiety and depression in children with AH and healthy children. A statistically significant relationship was revealed between clinically expressed signs of anxiety and depression and the presence of primary АН in girls.
