Pathophysiology of the of immune system in patients with squamous cell carcinoma of skin during surgical treatment

The immune status was evaluated in 39 patients with squamous cell carcinoma of skin. The research was made before the surgical treatment, in the first, 5th, 7th, and 10th operative day and 18 months after the operation. The research showed that in the cell sector of immune system in patients with squamous cell carcinoma of skin before the surgical treatment is characterized by the reduction of both the relative and the absolute number of lymphocytes carrying the receptors CD16+, CD3+, CD4+, CD8+, which significantly increased in the 10th operative day. In the humoral sector of immune system in patients with squamous cell carcinoma of skin, we saw the reduction of IgG, IgM, as well as the total volume of the complement, its С3— and С4-components, ФНОα, ИЛ-1β, ИЛ-6, ИЛ-10, ИНФγ, ФИ, ФЧ, СТ—сп, СТ—ст, however, ЦИК increased. The partial restoration of IgG, IgM takes place in the 10th post-operative day.
