To optimize the selection of laser energy for phacofragmentation, femtofacoemulsification was performed on 60 patients (60 eyes) on the basis of high-precision examination data. Based on the undertaken studies, an algorithm for applying the energy of a femtolaser for the complete separation of the lens nucleus into separate fragments was developed.

Key words: femtosecond laser-assisted cataract surgery, Pentocam, PNS, energy level.
