    The article presents contemporary data on the methods of uterine artery embolization for treatment of uterine fibroids and uterine bleeding. There are named the comparative short-term and long-term results of treatment according to the standard procedure of uterine artery embolization and improved modified method using the embosser with the size ranging from 300-700 μm as an embolization, which significantly reduced the time of X-ray investigation, radiation exposure, effectively reserved uterine bleeding, and reduced the size of the uterus and uterine fibroids.
