Obtaining isolated cells of epidermis and derma by method of cellular alkaline dissociation

Objective. To substantiate application of the method to obtain isolated cells of the dermis and epidermis for their further identification.
Materials and methods. The technique of cell-alkaline dissociation of skin cells in the modified version was carried out in accordance with the patent of the Russian Federation 2617237 “Method of obtaining preparations of isolated cells of the dermis” proposed by L.M. Zhuravlev et al.
Results. Using the comparative analysis of microscopic sections of psoriatic papules, keloid scar, slice of acne papules and the results of alkaline dissociation of corresponding bioptates, the possibilities of using cell-base dissociation in dermatology were shown.
Conclusions. The use of alkaline dissociation method allows obtaining information on the isolated cellular elements of the epidermis and dermis, including hematopoietic origin, degree of differentiation of keratinocytes based on their mitotic activity, which is not possible to achieve in the study of microscopic sections.
