Comparison was made of the effectiveness of various therapy schemes with itraconazole in patients of reproductive age with a recurrent form of vulvovaginal candidiasis. It has been shown that taking the drug for 4 days (8 capsules = 800 mg of itraraconazole) is more effective than a 3-day course of treatment (3 capsules = 600 mg of itraconazole) and no less effective than a 5-day course of therapy (10 capsules = 1000 mg of itraraconazole). The obtained data are proved by the standards of efficiency of probative medicine.
Key words: vulvovaginal candidiasis; therapy; Itraconazole; efficiency, probative medicine.
