The article presents the results of studying regularities between biochemical markers of endothelial dysfunction and macular retina morphometric parameters in pregnant women with preeclampsia. 42 pregnant women 21 to 40 y.o. with preeclampsia of different degrees of severity (the main group) were examined. In the 3^rd trimester of pregnancy, all patients were examined once for endotheline in tear fluid, von Willebrand factor, and the macular retina volume. The following conclusions were made:

1. Pregnant women with preeclampsia have an increase in the macular retina volume to the 3^rd trimester, the degree of which has been correlated with an increase in endothelium levels in the tear fluid and von Willebrand factor.
2. Macular edema formed by the 3^rd trimester of pregnancy with preeclampsia of moderate and severe degrees creates an increased risk of ischemic disorders of the macular zone in puerperal period, which is consistent with the literature data.
