Intended use of methods of radiation and nuclear diagnostic for detection of bone metastases in peripheral non-small cell lung cancer help to clarify the tumor stage and to choose adequate treatment strategy. The article presents the results of using a complex of modern methods of radiation and nuclear diagnostics (SPET/CT, PET/CT with fluorodeoxyglucose) in 71 patients with peripheral non-small cell lung cancer to detect bone metastases. The evaluation of the diagnostic capabilities of SPET/CT, PET/CT with fluorodeoxyglucose is presented.
Key words: single-photon emission tomography (SPET), positron emission tomography (PET), peripheral non-small cell lung cancer (PNSCLC), metastases, bones.
