A study of microbial translocation during operations in 29 patients with pancreatic cancer was conducted. It is established that during the main phase of the operation, microbes were secured from the lymph nodes in 65.5% of cases, in 62.1% of cases ― in monoculture. Extraction of microbes from the blood of portal vein and peripheral veins was less pronounced (6.9 and 41.4%). From the lymph nodes predominantly anaerobic microorganisms (65.5%) were secured and from the blood of portal vein and peripheral veins – anaerobes in small amounts (6.9 and 10.4%).

Key words: pancreas, surgery, microbial translocation.
