     Objective — to analyze the modern Russian and foreign publications on methods of conservative treatment of overactive bladder.

    Materials and methods. Analysis of the modern Russian and foreign publications (including Cochrane reviews) on overactive bladder pharmacotherapy, which includes oral and transdermal forms of M-cholinoblockers and beta-3-adrenomimetics.

    Results. The results are described of the Cochrane database study related to the application of M-cholinoblockers and agonists of beta-3-adrenoreceptors. This provides understanding of the currently available evidence for the safety and clinical efficacy of overactive bladder pharmacotherapy.

    Conclusion. Anticholinergic drugs and beta-3-adrenergic agonists are the basis of overactive bladder pharmacotherapy. The therapy should be selected individually, taking into account all the features of the patient.
