Breast cancer is the leading cancer in women, tending to shift the peak incidence to younger age group. Difficulty in studying the topographic- anatomical indicators of the tumor by mammography and the high cost of magnetic resonance imaging, despite the specificity of the first and indicators objectivity in the second, make ultrasound examination the method of choice. The results of analysis of breast cancer ultrasound indicators and comparison with the similar indicators of histological study are given in the article.
Key words: breast cancer, topographic-anatomical indicators of the tumor, histological study, ultrasound examination, linear regression.
