The work was performed at the Pediatric-Traumatology Unit of RCH. The method of intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring was tested on 12 adolescents. Intraoperative monitoring of the functional state of spinal cord was performed during correction of spine deformation. No neurological postoperative complications were observed. The method enables the surgeon to objectively estimate the state of spinal structures and reduce the risk of iatrogenic lesions of spinal structures.
Key words: scoliosis, intraoperative monitoring, H-reflex.
