The article presents a review of data on the influence of nutrition on the formation of bone system in children and adolescents. The results of modern research and meta-analyzes are shown, which demonstrate the role of rational balanced nutrition on the skeleton growth and accumulation of peal bone mass in children. The main trends of the contemporary children’ food behavior are shown. The influence of the «western» nutrition type on various areas of bone pathology in the recent 20 years are estimated. The research results are presented, which showed the correlation between nutrition regime, bone mineral density and the risk of fractures in various age groups. New data are given about the regulatory influence of the intestine microbiome on the bone tissue health.
Key words: bone system, bone mineral density, nutrition, гликация, microbiome, children.
