The article presents a brief literature review and the results of own study of the long-term effects of UAE on reproductive and menstrual function.

Material and methods: analysis of relevant studies in the Russian e-library system and telephone interviewing of patients.

Results: during 3 years of follow-up, more than 50% of women who underwent UAE under ectopic pregnancy perform their reproductive function; 40% of patients show violation of menstrual and reproductive functions.

Conclusions: when planning UAE, it is necessary to take into account the possible negative effects on reproductive and menstrual functions.
