    The article presents the results of the study of the physical development features and some health status indicators of young athletes. The survey involved 95 young athletes, aged 12 to 17 years. The results of the studies, data of clinical examination, retrospective analysis indicate the presence of significant differences in the characteristics of the study groups of young athletes and children not involved in sports.
