The article presents the results of the evaluation of psychological readiness to study in the school of 106 children of 6-7 years old, born prematurely. It was found that premature children in preschool age demonstrate significantly lower rates of social maturity than full-term peers, and are behind them on indicators of psychological readiness to school education. The findings can be used for development of special programs for the prevention of school exclusion of children born prematurely.
Key words: readiness for school, psychological testing, premature children.
