    The paper presents the main directions of implementing the «School Medicine» project. It is shown that health of children and adolescents has been deteriorating during the recent decades, which is due to school factors, inter alia. The authors present their proposals and ideas, based on both their own experience and literature sources, to optimize the performance of medical aid units under modern conditions and to improve the efficiency of school doctors’ performance.
