The authors researched the effectiveness of complex treatment of 104 patients with age-related macular degeneration by the additional use of the drugs Citicoline and Ginkgo Biloba. The therapeutic effect of combined treatment is due to the prolonged influence on vascular blood flow, good drug tolerance, herbal origin of the drug, which is essential in the prevention and treatment of patients with ARMD.
