    The article contains information of group of 30 children with idiopathic focal epilepsies with benign epileptiform patterns of childhood. The data were compared with control group, homogeneous y gender and age, without any abnormalities on EEG. All children went through video-EEG evaluation with a sleeping episode, neurological status evaluation, MRI evaluation if necessary and neuropsychological evaluation. Epilepsy was verified in accordance with International Anti-epilepsy League criteria. The authors describe comorbid disorders in children with idiopathic focal epilepsies with benign epileptiform patterns of childhood.
