In connection with the anniversary of the Republican Clinical Hospital of the Republic of Tatarstan, the authors present the stages of formation and analysis of functioning of the Nephrology Department from 1982 to 2023. During this period, diagnostic methods, approaches to therapy, the spectrum of diseases and even the range of patients have changed significantly.
