The article presents an analysis of habilitation of children with perinatal pathology and high risk of disability. According to the Federal Register of the Disabled, the disability rate of the Russian child population as of May 1, 2023 was 24.2 per 1,000 people (2.4% of the population younger than 18 y. o.). We analyzed the 2020–2022 annual reports of Orenburg Clinical Perinatal Center. It employs health-saving technologies, individual care programs and assessment of newborn development in intensive care units as daily practice. The treatment of a child with perinatal pathology is formed based on complex drug neurological protection, antiepileptic, vascular, immunological correction, metabolic therapy, as well as habilitation and rehabilitation using applied kinesics therapy, parental training, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, psychological and pedagogical correction, orthopedic support, and neurological habilitation. This analysis is important for determining the reserves for reducing the disability level.
Key words: the disabled, system of social rehabilitation and habilitation of disabled children, inter-departmental interaction, habilitation, rehabilitation.
