Genetic burden in the structure of infant mortality: assessment, dynamics and prospects

Diagnosis of congenital and hereditary diseases in the early stages of ontogeny and providing timely specialized care for children is the important condition for reducing the genetic burden in the population and reduction of child disability and infant mortality. The article gives statistical data reflecting the comprehensive collective work in the Kirov region for the prevention and diagnosis of the disease.
