The article gives the results of the study of physical development, eating behavior, and quality of life of children with bronchial asthma. According to the results of the research, physical disabilities frequently occur in children with bronchial asthma and have gender and age characteristics. The results show that the nutrition of 83% children with bronchial asthma is irrational and inadequate due to the low nutritional value of the diet, that leads to a breach of the nutritional status, aggravation of the disease and quality of life. Data obtained are indicative of individualization of diet for children with bronchial asthma in hospital environment and development of individual dietary recommendations for children at release. The article shows that the quality of life of children with bronchial asthma is in correlation with the severity of the disease.

Key words: children, bronchial asthma, nutrition, eating behavior, quality of life, nutritional status, physical development.
